Another grab bag for y’alls listening pleasure! The typical gamut of sounds and styles ran through as Mizo and I continue to dig into our crates for surprises and joyous celebrations of all that music can hold. We really just lay these down out of sheer joy and hope that our excitement for new sounds is as enticing for you as it is for us. Our crates are ever expanding, our ears are ever exploring. As you press play Mizo is in LA diggin through a certain DJ’s crates for new gems and I’m relaxing in the lounge exploring a new pick up that piqued my ears via bandcamp some months ago but just finally found it’s way to my table. How to take a week off, sometimes it’s good to refresh and revitalize the spirit! Mizo will be back soon, but we got another solo endeavor this week, filled with exactly what you find in my crates - the roots of all things hiphop! I managed to spread out a lil bit and get a few other languages in there and some rock sounds but what can I say, I know what I like and stick to it. Regardless, it’s a journey and it’s good vibes and positive energy all around. Turn it up and light up the BBQ or partake in whatever summer activities bring you joy, this heat and sun won’t be around for much longer but we got no plans of ceasing to deliver you a weekly day of rest soundtrack.
