Happy Sunday y’all! As always thanks for tuning in with us. This week Mizo and I linked up in the lounge and played around with some sounds like we always do, attempting to capture the mixtures of light and dark, funky and wild, smooth and erratic. From an Oakland Elementary school performing Sun Ra inspired chaos to some haunting vocals over an ambient space out - we touch on Japanese funk, techno, gully ass rap, knocking beats, throwback underground, classic soul and of course some jazz flavors. If there is any goal as we go into the lounge it is to keep it varied, unpredictable and surprising.
