Another grab bag for y’alls listening pleasure! The typical gamut of sounds and styles ran through as Mizo and I continue to dig into our crates for surprises and joyous celebrations of all that music can hold. We really just lay these down out of sheer joy and hope that our excitement for new sounds is as enticing for you as it is for us. Our crates are ever expanding, our ears are ever exploring.   What a year... 2020 will forever be remembered for a multitude of things unpleasant, but if there was nothing else joyous in these last 365 days there was beautiful music from all angles, all genres, all sections of the globe. Mizo & I keep our ears to the world (read: internet) and we find peace and solace in the sounds happening. Happy birthday to Mizo! To celebrate he is tied up moving and couldn't make it into the lounge for a mix this weekend. So LyDZ slid through with her phone and we went track for track with me on the wax. As is usual around here we cover a lot of ground kicking it off with T.I. & BG (Free the man!) and before it's over you've got some soul, some alt rock, Donny Hathaway, Khruangbin, Lifesavas, and more.
