The Musik Lounge, Vol. 109

Back to the airwaves we come! Thank you for being patient, I had to step out of the studio and experience some life for a couple weeks. Always good to take a breather, reset and refocus. And of course music stays in the ears and on this come back to the show I arrived with a packed bag of wax and kept it strictly vinyl. My friend John Leonard dropped in and had an impromptu interview in the last 20 minutes of the show, so don’t skip out until you hear that, lots of gems dropped! TML Radio: Sabbath Sessions, Vol. 30

Mizo & I connect! Volume 30 of this here Sabbath Sessions. Damn. It’s amazing how time moves. We have come a long way and we are just getting started. As we like to do every six episodes this morning is a (mostly) Jazz vibe. Or as some like to call it social music. And this music is certainly social. You get a little bit of everything in this almost 3 hour long trip. That’s right, strap in, it’s a lil longer than usual - what can I say there is a lot of good grooves out there we just couldn’t resist letting y’all hear. We took it as it came, no plan other than to just deliver these sounds as they struck, both of us sitting on stacks ready to be played. Rest assured we barely scratched the surface. You get some new, some old, some lost, some forgotten and all around positively vibratious. Thank you walking with us, we will be back next week with the usual stew of styles but until then press play and zone. World's Experience Orchestra “Rain” Jeff Parker “After The Rain” Charlie ...

TML Radio: Sabbath Sessions, Vol. 18

And just like that it's been another week. Keeping in the groove of delivering a Jazz mix every six episodes, Mizo & I laid this one down with that in mind. Of course we couldn't quite stay in a box so we stretch the meaning of the word, but hey what's a genre? We brought in hints of funk, soul and grooves that certainly play into the vibes of everything else going on here. It's quite a journey with a nice blend of old and new. The goal is always to just deliver you with a perfect soundtrack to your Sunday afternoon, so pour up a another cup of coffee, grab a good book and relax while these sounds enshrine you in gorgeousness. It gets heavy, it's gets spacey, it's all in a pursuit of the best vibes to keep you connected to the spirit and find peace. As always thanks for walking with us! TRACKLIST: Quincy Jones “Guitar Blues Odyssey: From Roots To Fruits” Makaya McCraven “R.F.J. III” Sun Ra & His Outer Space Arkestra “Nuclear War” The Heliocentrics “Visio...
