TML Radio: Sabbath Sessions, Vol. 29

We did it again! Mizo & I floating through the air waves with some sounds for y’all to groove to. As always thank you for jamming with us on this (hopefully wherever you are) beautiful Sunday. The tunes are dripping with heat, running the gamut far and wide in styles. We don’t ever think these journeys out, we just show up in the lounge with a stack of wax and see where the story unfolds. You can always count on Mizo to bring some abstract forigen gems and I can’t ever escape at least a lil rap. We come together in our love of jazz, funk and soul, to at least keep things slightly cohesive. This time around Mizo really blew me away with a disco selection and his closing cut from the indomitable Steve Reid. There is new and old, basic and deep but always something to rock to. Until next week (when we break you off with another Jazz extravaganza) enjoy! Gloria Jones “Tin Can People” Busta Rhymes ft. Q Tip & Chauncey Black “You Can’t Hold The Torch” Seals & Crofts “Dance By Th...

TML Radio: Sabbath Sessions, Vol. 25

Can’t stop, won’t stop rockin, come on get down! That’s right, we are back like we never left and even as life returns to normal and Mizo & I’s schedules begin to fill back up we are still makin sure to connect in the lounge and bring some grooves to y’all. This weeks grab bag mix leaned a bit more into our personal first loves in sound as I dropped several rap tracks that have been sittin in my crates along with some soul numbers and Mizo kept it worldly with his usual brew of out there tunes, international found sounds that run the gamut of abstract and forigen to jazzy and electronic. Press play and get lost on this Sunday edition and keep walkin with us, we are both makin moves to turn this jam session into something more expansive, more inclusive. Regardless of how it unfolds you can rest assured it will always be about musical diversity and exploration. Kool & The Gang “Music Is The Message” Kendrick Lamar ft. Ab Soul “P&P 1.5” Vegyn “Like A Good Old Friend” Mar...
