  In the midst of recording this session, Mizo turned to me and said, "you never know what we are gonna play, but you can guarantee it will have soul." As I listened back last night these words rang out so true. It felt good to get back into the Musik Lounge w/ Mizo after doing a solo session last week and we got it laid down right before he departed for LA for an extended stay. Rest assured upon his return their will be many found sounds to explore! Sending him over my grail list ASAP! For this volume we stuck with our tried and true method, two from me, two from him, back, back, back and forth. No real plans, no expectations, just some records pulled from both our stacks and some mp3's from our digi libraries, swinging in with whatever the previous track inspired. Soul runs deep, the grooves fluctuate from high energy to somber, but always fun, fresh and new. Thanks for tuning in!
